A Call from the Future, and a Million Star Coins from the Start

Future calls, interstellar, leveling up from a good-for-nothing, D-rank mental strength, ancient organism fossil research major Mental strength is ranked D, C, B, A, and S. She found her mech in a trash can and tinkered with it until it could just about work. She named it “Scrap Treasure,” meaning turning junk into treasure. She studied on her own and got into Imperial Military Academy, enrolling in the ancient organism fossil research major because it had the lowest tuition. Only after enrolling did she learn that the major was completely dead. She was the only student! A lone seedling, not even allowed to doze off in class! During exams, two professors take turns hovering over her and checking her answers. The one upside is that there’s no competition whatsoever, so she can live in peace. The first thing she has to do after arriving is take a mental strength test. In front of the entire school, she’s rated D-rank and mocked by everyone. D-rank students only appear once in a thousand years. Even the most ordinary civilians have C-rank mental strength, so she’s made quite a name for herself. Her reputation as a good-for-nothing spreads across the whole school. An upperclassman in her major comforts her: “It’s fine. We’re researchers, so we do office work. We don’t usually need mental strength.” But, senior, every time I go out, I end up finding a hidden boss, some ultimate monster. When they chase me down in a frenzy, does mental strength really not matter at all? What a spectacularly unlucky life I’m living! I’m not going to make it! Someone, please save me! I pick up a part-time job and end up encountering a ghost in the middle of the night, then witness a giant monster devouring corpses. My survival is at stake! SOS! At the critical moment, I get a call telling me to form a pact with this huge monster? Yu Chuyi: “This hideous thing is something I can own? Aren’t I afraid it’ll eat me in the middle of the night?” The monster silently spits out a priceless crystal… Yu Chuyi, thoroughly face-slapped: “Who said it was ugly? It’s clearly the cutest, most invincible giant in the world! Come here, sweetheart, into big sis’s arms!”
