A Passionate Kiss in Beijing and Hong Kong

Lin You was an ordinary woman, while Shi Jingyuan was the head of one of the most powerful families. They belonged to two different worlds, so she never imagined he would notice her, let alone go out of his way to get close to her. Then one day, a video of the seemingly unrelated pair passionately kissing in a hallway took social media by storm. Everyone was stunned to discover that even the aloof, elegant Mr. Shi had a down-to-earth side. Unfortunately, the gap between their statuses was too great. No one believed they had a future together, not even the two of them. They both knew that romance was passion, while marriage was reality. So Lin You held fast to herself in their relationship. She never tried to fit into his circle, and never let him into her world. Shi Jingyuan tacitly agreed to keep things quiet and easy between them. Everyone said Lin You was Shi Jingyuan's kept canary. Dangle a little money in front of her, and she'd obediently do as she was told, never making a fuss. Even the daughter of a prominent family who was about to marry Shi Jingyuan didn't take her seriously. She was just a plaything he paid to keep, hardly a threat. On the day he got engaged, Lin You left their matching rings on his desk and took only the cat she loved most. When he came home and saw the rings, he smoked all night, but made no attempt to stop her from leaving. The two of them were so rational that even their breakup was tacitly agreed upon. That is, until he stumbled upon her engagement banquet and saw her warmly holding another man's arm. Only then did he realize... He'd fallen for her! He cornered her against the wall, eyes reddening as he murmured, “Lin You, just try leaving me!”
