I was chosen by the Jade Clarity Pearl as the one favored by the Heavenly Dao. Orphaned at birth, I was taken in by the sect leader of the Jade Clarity Sect. When I was six, I was betrothed to Chen Daoran, the sect leader's son. To be with Chen Daoran, Xu Xiange stopped at nothing to have me killed. She planted a demon bone inside my body, then falsely accused me of stealing the sect's sacred artifact. Atop the towering Immortal-Slaying Cliff, my life was worth less than an insect's, and anyone could trample me at will.
