Being the Senior Sister Is Fine, but Being the Beloved One Is a Better Deal

Tips: Don't get into this one. It's just a practice story I wrote for fun. The original heroine isn't vilified. It's an ensemble cast, and no male lead doesn't mean no couples. Su Zhi is a hard-working wage slave. After she transmigrates into a cultivation world, she becomes a tool of a senior sister who was expelled from her sect and killed off after contributing three episodes' worth of achievements to the protagonist. She is the perfect foil to the female lead, who is noble and aloof, born with immortal bones, and followed by admirers wherever she goes. After reading the script, Su Zhi's vision went dark. “What a disastrous start. I might as well lie flat and go to sleep.” “Darling, I can tell you have extraordinary bones. Would you like to become my disciple? Buy one, get five free. A sure thing!” A beautiful sect leader descended from the sky, beaming as she took Su Zhi by the hand. Her new sect was pretty great, honestly. There was the eldest senior brother, a man of immortal bearing who was obsessed with growing vegetables. The second senior sister, who was determined to bring the Industrial Revolution forward by several centuries. And the third senior sister, who in the original story became disabled because she was hopelessly love-struck; the fourth senior brother, a tragic supporting character who stood in the male lead's way to success; and the fifth senior brother, the backup who was treated like a brother when the heroine needed something and like a casual acquaintance when she didn't. Su Zhi: “So we're all one big family of cannon fodder?” No way. Her dear sectmates must have their reasons for falling under someone's spell. The male and female leads going on a date in a secret realm? I'll take my senior brothers along to steal their chickens and loot their treasures, then swoop in at the last moment. The male and female leads having a little lovers' quarrel? I'll whisper in my senior sister's ear and nip her lovesick foolishness in the bud. But what she never expected was that her sect didn't seem to match its description in the original story. Her senior brothers and sisters yawned. “Our junior sister says it's better to ascend before the children of destiny than to try to win them over with love.”
