Reborn, My Junior Sister and I Swapped Disciples

At the apprenticeship ceremony, my junior sister rushed to take Yu Wei as her disciple before I could. Yu Wei was the most outstanding of this batch of disciples, blessed with extraordinary talent. In my previous life, I took Yu Wei as my apprentice. He stole the show at the sect competition and even broke through to the Mahayana realm, one step away from ascending. Just as I was celebrating, Yu Wei plunged the life-bound spiritual weapon I'd given him into my chest. He said he wanted to kill his master to prove his Dao. Only then did I realize that he and my junior sister had long been secretly in love. He thought I had stolen everything from her. When I opened my eyes again, I took the one with an empty spiritual root as my disciple. Everyone urged me to reconsider. People with empty spiritual roots could barely cultivate, let alone ascend. But they forgot: the first person to ascend in the cultivation world had an empty spiritual root.
