Reborn as the Legitimate Daughter, I Pretend to Be a Green Tea and Keep the Two-Faced Young Lord in Check

[Scheming, sweet-talking legitimate daughter × seemingly innocent, secretly ruthless heir] While spinning promises to a scumbag, Shen Jinyi is mistaken for a murderer. She looks at the perfectly respectable-looking assistant minister of the Court of Judicial Review and puts on an innocent, aggrieved expression. “My lord, please don't falsely accuse an innocent person!” He smiles gently. “Of course. I would never wrong an innocent person.” But just a few days later, he catches her having fun beating the scumbag through a sack. Shen Jinyi bursts into tears. “My lord, that villain ran right into my foot!” He cries indignantly, “How dare this scoundrel! Truly despicable.” She had thought he was a noble and honorable heir, but then she witnesses him strike a man down with a single, lethal blow, splattering blood across her face. One day, an assassin holds a knife to Shen Jinyi's throat to threaten him, but the man shoots an arrow without hesitation. Its tip grazes her cheek, leaving a streak of blood. After she is rescued, Shen Jinyi pulls out a dagger and smiles as she plunges it into his chest, twisting it once for good measure. “This stab is my thanks, my lord, for saving my life.” Liang Yan watches the woman draw near, puckers his lips, and gives her a kiss. “There, all better!”
