After My Dad Started Online Dating My College Roommate

My dad's online romance turned out to be with my college roommate, Lin Xia! I told him Lin Xia didn't genuinely like him, she was only after his money. He wouldn't listen and even kicked me out of the house. On the day they got engaged, Lin Xia leaned coquettishly against my dad and said, “Guoguo, let's have a big, healthy boy. Then the three of us can be a family, okay?” My dad nodded, gazing at her with undisguised affection. At that moment, my heart went ice-cold, and I threw a pile of evidence at him: Six months later, my dad was desperately calling me. So I canceled my phone number. I vanished completely. Later, my dad wept on his hospital bed and clutched my hand. “Ruirui, I was wrong. Why did I get into online dating? I'm old and muddleheaded!”
