I Sent My Best Friend to a Shady Company to Stream Over Summer Vacation

As soon as the holiday began, my cousin, a livestreamer, urged me and my best friend to start streaming with her. “Just dance a little, and you can make tens of thousands a month!” I didn't think it was a good idea, so I took my friend to my home to pick fruit instead. We earned two hundred a day. But when she found out my cousin made over ten thousand a day, she said I had deliberately lured her into being cheap labor and cut off her chance to make money. She not only smeared my family online, but also hired people to stage a story claiming our fruit had killed someone. The orchard was forced to close, and public opinion drove my parents to their deaths. I, too, fell from a tall building after losing my footing while in a daze. When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day my cousin invited us to start livestreaming.
