Back to the Day the Pandas Chose Their Mates

I was born a panda, and I was also the Tiger Clan’s Holy Maiden. The Tiger King declared that whoever married me would be the next Tiger King. So I was courted by many princes, and in the end I chose the honest, good-natured Second Prince, Ke Chao. But on his deathbed, the Tiger King went back on his word. Since I had borne no children in a hundred years, he chose the Sixth Prince, who had many offspring, to be the new king. Ke Chao flew into a rage and tried to kill me, but I smashed his spine with one slap and killed him. I was executed for harming royalty. When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day the Tiger King told me to choose a husband. Ke Chao was the first to ask the king for the hand of the Rabbit Clan’s princess. I knew he had been reborn too. He wanted to become Tiger King by fathering lots of children. But he didn’t know that the fate of the Tiger Clan was in my hands. The one I wanted as king would be king.
