Reckless Adoration

[Sweet Romance x Love at First Sight x From School Uniforms to Wedding Gowns] The long-missing little princess of the Jing family has finally been found. Jing Shiwei, the new transfer student in Class Four, is beautiful, sweet-voiced, and gentle. She doesn’t talk much, and often drifts off by herself for no particular reason. Jiang Huai is Huai High’s infamous troublemaker: rebellious, cocky, and a constant headache for his teachers. At first, Jing Shiwei thinks Jiang Huai is rude and always talks back, while Jiang Huai thinks Jing Shiwei is clueless and cries too easily. - Worried she might struggle to adjust to her new school, the homeroom teacher specifically asks Jing Shiwei’s deskmate, Jiang Huai, to help her fit in and get used to the school and her new classmates. Jing Shiwei: “Jiang, where’s the teachers’ office?” Jiang Huai: “Over your head.” Jing Shiwei: “Jiang, how do I get to the school shop?” Jiang Huai: “Leave the building and go left.” Jing Shiwei: “Jiang, which bus goes to XX Residential Community?” Jiang Huai: “Route 11.” - Later, Jiang Huai finds Jing Shiwei crying on the rooftop. “You’re so noisy.” “Why are you crying?” “Who picked on you?” “Keep crying and I’ll hit you, got it?” “I don’t believe you.” “...” The girl’s tearful, wounded voice stayed with Jiang Huai for many, many years. No matter how sharp-tongued he usually was, he was always different with Jing Shiwei. From that cicada-filled summer onward, everything was different!
