Dark Moon Veils the Snow’s Embers

When you came to kill me, you brought a flower,

a red spider lily.

I held the red beans I'd picked for you,

and secretly scattered them on the ground.

I thought our fated enmity was the end,

but the spider lily bloomed forever in my heart.

The lovesick beans took root and became a tree.

I wish you would forget me,

but I can't let you go.
