I Became a Hit on a Parenting Show with My Sickly Little One, and My Actor Ex-Boyfriend Wants Me to Marry Him

[Variety show livestream with kids + the kids take care of the parent + sweet seduction and flirtation + rekindled romance + happy ending] When photos of her son are revealed, he goes viral for his striking resemblance to a top-tier star and actor. Xia Zhi is invited to bring her little boy to a parenting variety show. While the other female guests fuss over their children in front of the cameras, Xia Zhi lounges in a Ge You-style sprawl and earnestly lectures her son, who is holding a spatula: “Ranbao, you’re already a big five-year-old. You need to take responsibility for the household and look after Mom, got it?” The little guy expertly flips the food in the pan and gazes adoringly at his mother. “Mom, we’re having five dishes and a soup for dinner.” Who could have guessed that her actor ex-boyfriend, who broke up with her five years ago, would suddenly show up on the show? The three of them soon form a family. The two of them, one big and one small, are at each other’s throats all day, both vying to sleep beside her. The little guy’s eyes are icy, as if he might bite at any moment. “What gives you the right to sleep with Mom?” Fu Jinye sneers. “I’m your dad. You weren’t even as big as a sesame seed when I was with your mom.” Xia Zhi speechlessly kicks them both out of the room and snaps, “You two are sleeping together tonight!”

Everyone says actor Fu Jinye is chaste, refined, and distant, an untouchable flower atop a lofty peak. Only Xia Zhi knows he’s a madman. Xia Zhi explodes with anger. “Fu Jinye! We’ve already broken up!” Fu Jinye bends down and presses his lips to hers. “Baby, be good. Don’t say things that make me sad, or I can’t promise what I might do to you.”
