Being a Chef in Space Is No Easy Job

After transmigrating to the interstellar age, having no mom or dad was one thing, but how could there be no food or water, either? There wasn't even a single blade of grass on the planet they lived on.

The animals had evolved into fierce alien beasts, each more dangerous than the last. Before a Level Nine beast, humans were weak, pitiful, and helpless.

Being a chef was no longer a profession just anyone could enter. Even food culture had vanished, and could only be slowly pieced back together by historians.

Holding Su Chaoqi, Su Chaoliu could only choke back tears. “Are we really going to starve to death here?”

Su Chaoqi downed the free nutrition supplement distributed on the planet, patted Su Chaoliu on the shoulder, and calmly pointed to the sky. “The other planets are all untouched and waiting to be developed. As long as we can get to one, you can shoot any bird in the sky and catch any fish in the water. Whatever you want to eat, I'll make it for you.”

Years later.

Su Chaoliu's name was known throughout the planetary army. Everyone said that though she'd come from humble beginnings, she'd fought her way through every obstacle and could even kill a Level Nine alien beast before your eyes.

Su Chaoqi took up animal husbandry and ecological farming, and livestreamed cooking lessons. She brought the profession of chef down from its pedestal, so everyone could enjoy fresh-cooked meals.

Bonus scene:

Su Chaoliu: What is this, a planetary major general~? You want me to take responsibility? Are you kidding me? We're all adults. Can you really not take a joke?

Su Chaoqi: The leader of the space pirates wants to come with me? Don't be ridiculous. There's no room for you at home... Get down.
