After Falling a Million into Debt, My Resort Takes Off

When a wealthy family divides up its inheritance, little-known Song Zhizhi unexpectedly gets a nearly bankrupt resort and is promoted to village chief. To get the resort back on its feet, Song Zhizhi binds herself to the Myriad Worlds Trading System, and ends up five million in debt before she's made a single cent. At long last, her first guest arrives, but the visitor is both sick and mute! Village Chief Song can only wait eagerly for the next guest. [Ancient-era world] A young scholar brings a landscape painting to sell, hoping to improve life for his sick younger sister. Village Chief Song: “A promising future big shot in the imperial examinations. Might be worth investing in.” [Beastfolk world] A chubby little kitty clings to a bottle of AD Calcium Milk, while her glamorous cat-mom casually pays for a room with a rough jade stone. Village Chief Song: “Waaah, at last, money coming back in!” She went from barely breaking even to being five million in debt. She only just graduated from college, so of course she's under a lot of pressure! Later, as more and more villagers move into the resort, Village Chief Song's days become a nonstop stream of: “Village Chief! We're out of water!” “The sluice gate is closed! That's my house, not a fish tank! If you want to swim, go back to the sea you came from!” “Village Chief! The kitten snuck into the kitchen to steal food!” “Cat Sis, your kitten's gone over budget again. Pay up!” “Village Chief, Tieniu and Erhei next door are fighting again!” “Fighting gets you a 500-yuan fine! Do it again and it's another 500. Pay up!” Song Zhizhi, still young but already showing signs of going gray, counts the growing number of zeros in her bank balance. “This is so hard. It's just so hard!”
