A Tenderness to Remember

[Bittersweet ending, substitute romance]

Their first reunion after years without contact took place at Fu Wenxian’s wedding.

He was a handsome CEO of a publicly traded company, his arms around his lovely bride. She was an ordinary employee, looking worn and disheveled.

He was as handsome as ever. Raising his glass, he told everyone, “Thank you all for coming to my wedding.”

Down below, Li Zheng’s hands trembled.

A love letter from years ago had opened the door to another world for Li Zheng.

She and Fu Wenxian had unexpectedly come to know and understand each other, but they never became a couple.

Her aloof, unremarkable desk mate had one day transformed into a young master returning from studying abroad.

An entire galaxy now lay between them. Li Zheng was the only one who still remembered the past.

The stirrings of love in youth are destined to be remembered for a lifetime. Sadly, theirs never had a happy ending.
