Light Through Mulberry Forest

After the Yellow River was diverted, hundreds of thousands of acres of sandy land were left behind, which was dry and barren. In order to change this situation, our ancestors planted drought-resistant mulberry trees to improve the ecological environment. My ancestors have lived on this land for generations. Due to drought, crops cannot be irrigated and harvests are very low. People live a precarious life. However, we caught up with the trend of reform and opening up and took advantage of the victory to make use of the mulberry forests left to us by our ancestors. With the help of the town government, we attracted corporate investment, built resorts on this land, and established picking gardens, apricot dock gardens, and fragrant snow gardens. The mulberries are made into dried fruits, brewed into fine wine, and sold all over the world. We developed the breeding industry, planted greenhouses, and developed handicrafts, which made everyone in the village rich and completely changed the face of poverty in the village. Later, it was recommended by the county and successfully applied for UNESCO World Heritage, and was named "China's Important Agricultural Cultural Heritage" and "China's Hometown of Pesto Fruits."
