Jiang Zili was born with Waardenburg syndrome, giving her an eerie appearance. Her family saw her as an ill omen and abandoned her and her mother. To pay for Jiang Zili’s education, her mother agreed to an arranged marriage with the Si family and raised her daughter believing that her future husband would be Si Nanque. While in college, Jiang Zili took a summer job in the entertainment industry to pay for medical care for her mother, who was in a vegetative state. She won the title of “Kyoto’s Most Beautiful Woman,” angering a popular rising star who nearly disfigured her. The male lead, Si Nanque, rescued her, but believed she was a spy planted by her family, so he kept her under surveillance, distrusted her, and tormented her. The female lead, however, cared only about her studies and wanted to graduate from Kyoto Aviation University and fly planes and spaceships. As the two spend time together, they eventually reconcile and sparks begin to fly.
