The Blessed Adopted Daughter of the Farming Household

The Bai family is famous in the village for two things: having far too many sons and being so poor their house is bare.

Everyone says that only a daughter can turn the old Bai family's bad luck and poverty around.

They never got the daughter they hoped for, but they did take in an adopted girl.

The girl is blessed with koi luck, and the Bai family prospers more and more because of her.

When she wades into the river to catch fish, they leap right into her arms. When she goes up the mountain to catch rabbits, they run straight into trees. When she picks mushrooms, they turn into ginseng in her hands.

The koi-blessed adopted daughter leads the whole family to farm and do business until they become the richest family around, and her brothers thrive in both the civil and military examinations.
