Xie Nanjia, the heir’s wife, was murdered in the birthing chamber. Returning to the marquis’s manor as a maid, she swears to find the killer and exact her revenge. To gain a foothold in a manor rife with open and hidden attacks, she needs an ally to rely on. The second young master of the Dingyuan Marquis’s household, a notorious wastrel, has recently become infatuated with a young maid. Sweet and charming, she is also full of schemes. I only love beautiful women.” The beauty flatly refuses: “An elder brother’s wife is like a mother. Second young master, please behave yourself!”
