Good and Secretive

Shu Ran is sweet and introverted. After getting into a prestigious university in the capital, she strikes up a friendship with Lin Qing, the handsome, warm-hearted class heartthrob who is also worldly and experienced, after a game during military training.

As she immerses herself in the comfortable life of college, her youthful innocence leaves her relationship with Lin Qing in an ambiguous state.

Then, by chance, she discovers that Lin Qing is also entangled in an ambiguous relationship with her roommate and good friend, Lin Jiaman. The two are unusually intimate with each other.

Their secrets make her innocent world collapse in an instant.

In the end, pride, misunderstandings, and deception gradually drive her away from them both.

After facing setbacks in every part of her life, from school to everything else, she starts working hard at her studies.

Later, she runs into Mu Jingshen, the aloof young master of the business school, outside the library.

While waiting in line, she is nearly knocked over by the crowd, but he reacts quickly and catches her.

Then he conveniently uses forgetting his meal card as an excuse to approach her.

In fact, they first crossed paths on the library stairs.

They passed each other, then accidentally bumped into one another.

Neither of them thought much of it, and neither looked back.

They met for the second time at the orientation gala.

She was called in at the last minute to help out as a piano accompanist.

The person singing alongside her was him.

His gaze had already fallen on her that night, but he hadn’t been able to find her.

When he saw her waiting in line outside the library, he recognized her at once.

He had planned to play the fool and slowly lure her into his trap. But who could have guessed that this silly girl would simply ask him to be her boyfriend?

Mu Jingshen was instantly dumbfounded, then laughed long and hard.

After getting to know him, Shu Ran learned something:

It turns out that when you fall for someone, you’ll follow in their footsteps and want to become just as outstanding as they are.
