After transmigrating into the Ming dynasty as Zhu Qiyu, Prince of Cheng, he opens his eyes to find himself facing a battle to defend the capital. The Oirat army is poised to strike, and will soon be at the gates of the capital. The Empress Dowager rules from behind the curtain, harboring ulterior motives for fear he might take the throne. His own safety is uncertain, and even his wife and children could be attacked at any moment. The man behind all this is his dear elder brother, Zhu Qizhen, the emperor who was captured and is now in Datong Prefecture urging the defenders to surrender to the Oirats! Brother, take my advice. Since you married an Oirat woman and joined her family, just settle down and live happily with her. As for the vast Ming realm, your little brother will make sure it lasts for generations to come!
