Too much nonsense, always describing other people. The most poisonous thing is to call your father Lion King, just call him Father King. Or is it a bad father? Especially the part about refining the amethyst source, obviously. What can be written clearly in a few paragraphs must be written in a chapter or two. The protagonist feels like air, dispensable.
