Clear Moonlight on the Sea

Lively and unconventional, Shen Haiyue has no interest whatsoever in the refined arts of the zither and books. But her mother is convinced she has talent, all because of one “mistaken” attempt at playing the zither in kindergarten. The applause and compliments from the onlookers made Mrs. Shen feel as if she'd found her life's purpose, and she became determined to raise her daughter into a zither master for the new age… Xu Qinghui, born into a family of zither masters despite being unable to play, is strikingly handsome and knows more about the zither than anyone, though he never studied it. The Xu family’s zither scores were written by his hand. After his clan was framed and their zither destroyed, their ancestral paulownia zither fell into the martial world. To protect it, he used his blood to conjure a body and infused himself into the instrument, guarding it through the generations as he waited for someone destined to restore it. The scores were sought through the zither and passed down over the generations, but each owner grew from cherishing the instrument to coveting it, and none proved worthy of entrusting it to them… Search after search… Wait through generation after generation… What kind of shock will a thousand-year-old zither bring after it is summoned on a mysterious full-moon night? How will a modern girl's journey to master the zither transform after she meets the legendary master of the art?
