Tong Hua's science fiction romance masterpiece has over 30 million Weibo topics and is an annual hot novel with both high topic and reputation. In a future world where genes determine life and death, look for love that lasts until death. With the deterioration of the earth's environment and depletion of energy, human beings have no choice but to go to the stars. At the moment of life and death, the door to genetic research has been completely opened. In order to obtain a stronger body, more power, and more chances of survival, human beings have modified their own genes. As time went by, various modified genes merged with each other, and problems hidden in the genes gradually emerged. Only then did humans discover that genetic modifications not only increased the chance of survival, but also brought about some devastating problems. Those who have gained abnormal powers due to the fusion of genes from other species are called "human beings carrying heterogeneous genes" and are increasingly ostracized. Especially those ethnic groups whose appearance is different from humans are contemptuously called "different species". When a woman with pure genes but no memory meets a man carrying a heterogeneous gene, how far can their love go?

I finally found the novel I read in sixth grade.
Ok ok
As one of the few romance novels I have read, it is quite good. It shocked me a lot as I was just in junior high school and had never been exposed to romance novels. I bought a physical book at that time, and I didn't know there were 234. I read the first one several times, and it was only a few years later that I found out there was a follow-up. I still remember Yin Nanzhao after almost ten years, and I was particularly shocked and saddened by his death at that time.
