I Have Options in My Life

I don't recommend writing it down. The character of the protagonist has collapsed, his character is weak, and he is resigned to everything.

Is the author writing about learning? Choose a system? Or a game? I write a little bit here and there and a paragraph here and there, but I can't understand it! After writing so much, do the things in the brackets after the options have anything to do with the options? The protagonist chooses an option and gets a skill (I don't know the name) that becomes powerful but then disappears? Why do I feel like the few choices are useless?
