My Wife Is a Force of Nature: Raising a Chief Minister

She marries a fool, and there’s a vicious sister-in-law in the house who makes things difficult for her at every turn. With a furrowed brow, she treads as carefully as if on thin ice, wondering how she’ll ever get through life like this. Luckily, her foolish husband treats her well, and her kind mother-in-law has her back. So she makes up her mind to spend her life with him. She takes on her wicked sister-in-law, starts a business, and finds a cure for her husband. Life is full of surprises. Her husband may be a fool, but she won’t let anyone else bully him. If they try, she rolls up her sleeves and gives them a fight. The villagers come to complain: “This is outrageous! The Yu family’s fierce wife is beating people again!” But her mother-in-law claps behind her and shouts, “Good! Keep going!” From then on, no one in the surrounding villages dares bully the fool. They all give in to her fearsome reputation. Later, they meet a legendary physician who cures her foolish husband. He becomes sweet and flirtatious. No longer a fool, he even passes the imperial examinations and becomes a top scholar, making a name for himself overnight. For her sake, he turns down a princess. And whenever he sees a man beside her, he flies into a jealous rage. Her clingy husband pleads for affection: “Wifey, you’re the only one I’ll ever love. I’d give my life for you!”
