After the Substitute Marriage, My Husband in a Vegetative State Turns Out to Be My Boyfriend

Song Zhiyi, who is looked down on by her family, is ordered to take her stepsister’s place and marry a comatose man who can’t care for himself. Her scumbag father uses her uncle’s company as leverage. “Agree to the engagement with the Lu family, and I’ll give your uncle’s company back to you.” Her hypocritical stepmother puts on a kindly act. “How many people would love the chance to marry the young master of the Lu family? You should be grateful!” Song Zhiyi rolls her eyes. “Why don’t you take this blessing yourself? Do you want it?” Her stepsister, Gu Tingting, joins in too. “That useless man was supposed to be your husband anyway. I’m just giving him back to you.” When news of the Gu-Lu marriage alliance breaks, everyone in Shencheng learns that the Gu family’s heiress is marrying a useless man for the Lu family’s fortune. With the wedding date fast approaching, Song Zhiyi finds true love and, with an earnest expression, asks her boyfriend, a low-ranking employee, “How about we elope?” Song Zhiyi thinks she’s about to start a happy life with her boyfriend.
