Pathological Obsession

The powerful He Jinghong is cold and heartless, a celestial prodigy everyone looks up to. There are few things in this world he cares about. And yet. This man, who never falls for anyone, suddenly married Lu Yu, an unremarkable adopted daughter of the Xu family. No one could fail to see how absurd and laughable this marriage was. Everyone was certain it wouldn't last, but they were all proven wrong when someone witnessed this: In the dark of night, He Jinghong clutched Lu Yu's slender wrist with feverish obsession, like a devout worshipper before a god. His eyes brimmed with ardor and tenderness, and his voice was low and hoarse, fragile and pleading: "Lu Yu, please look at me."
