The Metaphysics Master’s Ex-Husband Keeps Hoping Their Child Will Win Her Back

They say Master Fu of Nancheng is vicious and volatile, and that any woman who gets close to him comes to a bad end. His little prince is just like his father, with a face that changes faster than anyone’s. He loves playing tricks on people until they’re utterly miserable. Everyone in their circle says the Gu family’s newly returned second daughter is trouble. She’s not only an illegitimate child, but also talks nonsense, acts crazy, and is always cursing people. And every curse comes true. One day, the two of them are seen together. The girl is throwing a tantrum, her face red with anger. “I don’t want to live with you anymore! You’re an old jerk!” Everyone gasps. Who would dare call Master Fu that? But the man gently pulls her into his arms, scolding her with a smile as he comforts her. “All right, I’m a jerk. Don’t be mad, sweetheart.” At first, when the little prince hears that yet another woman is trying to get close to his dad, he deftly digs out poison and a bow and arrows. “Dad’s already trying to find me a stepmother. Men really are incapable of staying faithful. To make sure my little body grows up safe and sound, I have to drive her away.” But after seeing who the woman is, the little prince does a complete turnaround and follows her around every day. When someone asks him about it, the little prince rolls his eyes. “That’s my real mom!”
