Meeting Again, and Finding Joy

When Ye Anqing woke up, she found herself in a relationship with her childhood best friend, Yan Heng. Seizing the opportunity, she confessed her feelings to him. But in the end, she was left heartbroken. Yan Heng not only turned around and got together with someone else, he also pushed her into the arms of his best friend. Ye Anqing thought she was the one at fault: for loving Yan Heng for twenty years, and for making it known to everyone that she considered him her future husband. Later, Ye Anqing finally let go. On the day she was leaving with Gu Feiyi, Yan Heng suddenly appeared at the airport, eyes red, pleading frantically: “Qingqing, can you really bear to leave me?” Ye Anqing pulled her hand away coldly. “I can, Yan Heng. We all have to learn to give some things up.” Yan Heng asked, “Even me?” “Yes. Even you.” [Once I had you. Just thinking about it breaks my heart]
