Wuxia Through Video: Ranking the Ten Greatest Masters from the Start

Ye Qingyang was a longtime fan of wuxia novels when he suddenly received an invitation from a video-sharing website. The site, called “Wuxia Supreme,” was connected to parallel worlds containing every wuxia novel in China! Posting videos would let people in all those wuxia worlds watch them, and even earn him rewards! Ye Qingyang decided to put it to the test and uploaded a video he had made, “The Top Ten Wuxia Masters.” Xiao Feng: “No one can defeat me when my BGM is playing!” Duan Yu: “I’m not interested in martial arts. I want a fairy-like beauty!” Murong Fu: “Drive out the Song dogs and restore Great Yan! Found the Xianbei nation and divide the world between us!” After the video went live, countless martial heroes watched it. None of them would concede to the others, and they clamored to find the video’s creator and teach him a lesson! Ye Qingyang was thrilled as one martial arts master after another rewarded him. Then videos such as “The Ten Most Tragic Characters in Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils” caused a sensation throughout the entire parallel wuxia world!
