Growing on Purpose

[Gentle, adorable young general & cold, tsundere young female doctor] Wan Yi never imagined that Consort Shu’s death would indirectly lead to the slaughter of her entire family... Returning to the capital, she has become a concubine in the general’s household, yet spends her days grinding medicine and climbing mountains. Lord Gu has been campaigning on the battlefield since he was young, and countless beauties have thrown themselves into his arms, only to be rejected. His subordinates have even begun to suspect he has unusual tastes... Wan Yi never thought that the person she had hated since childhood would now be the one she had to depend on to survive... One evening in late autumn, in a tent in the south, she found her general lying before her. Crimson blood seeped through layer upon layer of bandages, yet it still would not stop... Bewilderment clouded Wan Yi’s eyes, and only then did she realize how foolishly she had acted... “You said you wanted the milk-crisp candies from the south. I bought them for you.” [Super sweet with a little angst, come on in!]
