The Female Coroner of Shengjing

Tu Jiuniang guards the cemetery at Ziyun Mountain. She came there when she was thirteen. Though she has a sinister streak and a sharp tongue, she is soft-hearted, and she has guarded the cemetery alone, burying countless unclaimed bodies. Tu Jiuniang has a unique way of examining corpses: she can understand their language. From a cemetery guard living in seclusion, she makes her way to Shengjing and becomes the only female coroner ever appointed by imperial decree. Tu Jiuniang is stunningly beautiful, but her sinister nature keeps her admirers at a distance. Only a general who has fought on the battlefield understands what is in her heart.
