The Physiognomist's Record

Zhang Fan was eight when a car accident left him with paralyzed legs. By chance, his soul crossed over and he was reincarnated in another world: the Realm of the Zodiac Gods. This world of the Chinese zodiac is ruled by the gods of the Twenty-Eight Mansions. At the age of eight, people here can awaken their Aspect Souls and activate their Astral Seals. They may awaken one of the twelve orthodox zodiac souls, such as the Ox or Snake, or one of the scattered souls of the twelve celestial signs, such as the Wolf or Flood Dragon. And, of course, there are monster souls as well... Eight was also where it all began in his previous life. He spent every day in a wheelchair, his arms taking over every task his legs could no longer manage, and endured the strange stares of everyone around him. In this life, Zhang Fan has been given a new beginning. Whole and healthy, he can run around to his heart's content, make up for all the regrets of his past life, and embark on a completely different journey, step by step becoming a God of Aspects.
