The Top-Tier Star Wants to Make Their Relationship Official Every Day

Xia Muran, the third-largest shareholder of Shishen Media, is a celebrated screenwriter and an up-and-coming novelist who made a name for herself at a young age. A beloved darling of Shishen Media and a winner in life, her greatest joy is shipping couples, and she only ships real couples. Along with a million hilarious fans, she ships the “One-Fold” pairing. The pairing too obscure? The stars barely known? No problem! Xia Muran arranges for her favorite couple to star in a boys’ love drama and writes them a custom script. Mystery, palace intrigue, wuxia, xianxia: she has it all covered! She turns two actors into top-tier stars! Xia Muran: I can do whatever I want! Xiang Yi: “I like you!” Xia Muran: “No! I want you to end up with your senior brother!” But one day, the official media publish a photo of Xia Muran kissing award-winning actor Xiang Yi, setting the whole internet ablaze! Xia Muran: “That wasn’t me, I didn’t do that, don’t make things up! Sisters, listen to me, I haven’t betrayed you. I’m just an NPC in their story!” Netizens dig up both of their private accounts. The award-winning actor, Mr. Xiang, signs in and keeps the conversation going every day in the supertopic for the obscure pairing of himself and his wife. Meanwhile, Xia Muran’s private account is that of a famous “One-Fold” superfan, a well-known fanfiction author and prolific content creator, writing the kind of fanfiction you can’t speak openly about, the kind you have to mirror-flip and read with your phone held upside down… Netizens: “We give up. The real couple knows how to have fun.” Xiang Yi posts on Weibo himself: “@Xia Muran, my esteemed author and beloved Mrs. Xiang: I sincerely invite you to follow and join our CP supertopic.” A word of caution: The female lead is genuinely melodramatic and unhinged.
