Record of the Nine Heavens Sword Immortal

The human path is faint and distant, the immortal path vast and wild.

The ghost path is blissful, for it begins where life ends.

The immortal path cherishes life, while the ghost path cherishes death.

The immortal path is ever blessed, while the ghost path is ever ill-fated.

High above, the pure and radiant spirit soars, its mournful song echoing through the boundless sky.

I wish only to attain the immortal path, not to languish on the human path.

In the Northern Capital's Netherworld Palace, countless ghosts gather.

They seek only to shorten the human lifespan and sever the gates of life.

The people sing the Cavernous Chapter to subdue the Northern Netherworld,

chanting incantations to bind demons and evil spirits, and striking down the Six Ghost Blades.

The heavens are vast and boundless. May our way flourish day by day.

Humans, ghosts, demons, fiends, and immortals all seek to glimpse the Heavenly Dao and endure for eternity. Yet female cultivators are already few and far between, and are often treated as furnaces for male cultivators. Ye Ling refuses to accept this. “Who says women are inferior to men? I will cultivate the eternal arts as a woman, shatter the void, and ascend to the supreme Great Dao.”
