The groom: “My childhood sweetheart is sick. She’s all alone in a foreign country, with no one to look after her. I have to go take care of her. You’re so understanding, I know you’ll get it. Be good, and let’s postpone the wedding for now.”

The groom’s mother: “You shouldn’t take it seriously. You need to be more generous.”

The groom’s childhood sweetheart: “I’m the one my big brother loves most. You were just a fling. If you know what’s good for you, leave on your own.”

Miss Huo: “Hah. What are men good for?”
