The Great Tang Detective

In the fourth year of Chuigong (688), Wu Zetian ruled as regent, actively eliminating members of the Li Tang imperial clan and plotting to seize the Li dynasty's throne.

The Great Hall of Myriad Images was nearing completion, and Wu Zetian's desire to ascend the throne grew stronger. Preparations were quietly underway.

Many members of the Li Tang imperial clan opposed her and fought fiercely against Wu Zetian. Beneath the surface, the Great Tang was rife with undercurrents.

A modern private detective was reborn as a low-ranking constable in the divine capital of Luoyang. His surname was Chen, his given name Su, and his courtesy name Yuanfang. From then on, he became involved in case after case, earning a reputation as a brilliant detective who solved crimes as if by divine insight.

Wu Zetian: “If we're talking about solving cases like a god, there are two people in my court who stand above the rest: Di Renjie, and my dear subject Chen.”

Princess Taiping: “Chen Yuanfang is mine!”

Di Renjie: “Yuanfang, what do you think?”

Chen Su: “My lord, I use my eyes to look!”
