She Caught the Gentle Top Student's Eye

The first time Shen Zhuo met Lin Yaoyao, she looked apologetic as she bent down to pick up his book. The second time, she suddenly walked into their classroom, picked up a densely written sheet of paper, and read her apology against her will. Yet there wasn't a trace of sincerity or remorse in her voice. Her features were like a painting, her eyes gentle as water. One glance seemed to reach straight into his heart, where it sank without a trace. Lin Yaoyao's first proper meeting with Shen Zhuo took place on the basketball court. Her deskmate, Fang Lin, had practically begged her to come watch the basketball skills of the boy she had a crush on. She had no idea what she'd done in a past life to deserve it, but suddenly a basketball came hurtling straight at her face. She squeezed her eyes shut, brows knitted tight. A faint, fresh scent washed over her. Slowly opening her eyes, she saw a cool, gentle young man gazing deeply at her. His eyes held a smile, their shape like crescents glowing with a soft light. His skin was fair, and his features were clear and bright.
