The Cult Leader Doesn't Follow the Plot

Atheist Ji Xiaoxiao never imagined that after drinking too much, she would wake up the next morning in such a melodramatic mess. She had transmigrated into a book, into the jianghu novel written by her roommate, and become a cannon-fodder character. She couldn't help letting out a heartfelt wail. After checking carefully, she realized that in two days, it would be the day this cannon fodder met her end. So she decided to take a gamble: if she followed the plot, might she be able to return to the real world? When the demonic cult attacked, she obediently went along with the story, ready to be taken hostage. But would having her throat slit hurt? Just as she was pondering this, she was carried off by someone from the demonic cult. Ji Xiaoxiao trembled as she asked, “Big brother, did you forget something?” Shen Jichuan glanced suspiciously at Miss Ji, whom he was holding like a little chick. His sword-like brows rose. “Hm?” “You forgot to kill me...” Shen Jichuan: “...” The surviving cannon fodder keeps hopping back and forth between following the plot and straying from it. A treasury left behind by the previous dynasty has drawn the jianghu's fighters into a scramble, and the demonic cult is moving at the first sign of trouble. The imperial court and the jianghu seem to be deeply entangled. A vast web is slowly closing in on everyone from the darkness. Can this jianghu novice make it through successfully?
