Cloud Sea Beyond the Shore

I’m so absorbed in teasing fish and catching shrimp that I have no desire to learn how to govern the court.

But then my mother insisted I go to Mount Minzhong to gain experience. She said it didn’t matter whether I awakened or not, as long as I returned a year later.

Sigh...

Looks like I have no choice but to go to Mount Minzhong. I just never imagined I’d meet there the young man I would miss for the rest of my life.

He was wonderful, but fate had other plans.

In the end...

I became king beneath the deep sea, while he became emperor on land.

The clouds and the sea were never meant to be together. They remain on opposite shores, separated by an impassable divide, able only to gaze at each other from afar.
