Mr. Lu Is Up to Mischief Again Today

“A cybersecurity technician who thinks money matters more than men vs. a troublesome, green-tea-type star lawyer” & “A cool, aloof catlike young woman vs. a mischievous, funny doglike man” “Men only slow down the rate at which I make money.” That had been Xu Yao's life motto for 22 years, until she met Lu Yunlan, the troublemaking expert who lived upstairs. They had the misfortune of running into each other three times in one day in elevators, and not even in the same elevator! Then, at the end, Lu Yunlan looked right at Xu Yao and asked flirtatiously, “Hey, young lady, do you like me?” Xu Yao: Who is this shameless man? Ever since Lu Yunlan declared that he was going to pursue her, he sent Xu Yao a heap of flowers every day. On the first day, he sent roses. Xu Yao used them for a foot soak. On the second day, he sent cauliflower, which Xu Yao stir-fried, and yellow chrysanthemums, which she brewed into tea. She used the rest of the flowers for another foot soak. (Xu Yao: Is this a romantic gesture, or are you making an offering?) On the third day, he sent “meat flowers.” Xu Yao washed them down with a few cans of beer right in front of Lu Yunlan. Lu Yunlan was baffled by her every move. How could she not be touched by such romantic gestures? He'd have to show her what made him so charming! So Lu Yunlan tried to show off his skills at work. Unfortunately, he failed again. Everyone praised them for luring the culprit into their trap, saying they were truly impressive! But only Lu Yunlan knew that Xu Yao had set the trap and figured out how to catch the culprit. What had he done? Just stood on the sidelines and watched! Attorney Lu's road to winning her heart was truly a bumpy one!
