Kirito, Asuna, and Alice finally returned to the real world from the Underworld. One day a month later, when the three logged into ALO as usual, they were involved in a sudden and huge change, and were transferred to a brand new game world-Unital Ring, together with the new baby Aincrad. Their abilities and props have all been reset, and they cannot use the equipment inherited from ALO. Unital Ring is a sandbox-style survival game.
