My Battlefield World

The real world.

Jason Bourne: I wiped out the entire CIA leadership.

Ethan: I’m always on the road to saving the world.

Brian: Don’t touch my family, and we can work anything out.

John Wick: I got a dog. Why’d you kill it without even eating it? You think I’m beneath you?

Me, McClane: I just want to be a simple detective and retire in peace.

The fake world.

Xu Ning, fresh back from the battlefield: “A bunch of nobodies. Do you think I’d tell you that I shot down a Black Hawk in Somalia, fought for three days and nights in the heart of Afghanistan’s war zone, and decapitated someone during the Libyan War?”
