The Palace Maid in Charge

A concubine-born daughter of the Yun family wakes from a bout of amnesia, only for fate to lead her all the way to the selection of imperial consorts. Just as she is preparing to make a fresh start and secure a bright future, she is framed and reduced to a palace maid. So what if she is a palace maid? She can still accompany the Crown Prince on campaigns against foreign tribes and help stabilize the nation at home. She can even arrange the Crown Prince's consort selection exactly as she pleases! Yet ever since she entered the palace, strange clues have been cropping up everywhere. She gradually senses that a vast conspiracy looms over her. At last, after piecing together the clues, she realizes that the fate she thought was beyond her control is actually a trap designed to ensnare her. That trap was set the moment she woke from her amnesia at the Yun residence. [No transmigration, no being reborn, no golden finger. Heavy on court intrigue, with the measured pace of a traditional historical romance, some satisfying moments, and as much logical consistency as possible.]
