His Little Sweetheart Tastes Like Strawberries

There’s a guy at Yucheng No. 9 High School whom nobody dares to cross. Everyone keeps their distance. They all hope some mighty figure will come along and tame him. Yeah, right. As if immortals existed. Then a transfer student arrives, and the big shot turns into a completely different person. He stops smoking, drinking, fighting, and hanging out at internet cafes… It’s because the girl frowns and points at the cigarette in Jiang Si’s hand. “No smoking. I hate the smell.” Jiang Si tosses away the cigarette he was about to light and pats the girl on the head. “Okay!” Then the girl adds, “No drinking, no fighting, no internet cafes, and no…” Jiang Si steps closer, backing her into a corner. “No what? Am I allowed to date you?” Wen Mian’s face turns red. “N-no.” Jiang Si looks at the girl’s soft, dewy lips, his Adam’s apple bobbing. “But I like you. The kind of liking I can’t hold back, the kind that makes me want to kiss you.” At that, Wen Mian shoves him away and runs off in a panic. … Many years later, Jiang Si asks Wen Mian, “Everyone was afraid of me back then. Why weren’t you?” Wen Mian looks unconcerned. “Who says I wasn’t? I was terrified, but I didn’t dare say so. I was afraid you’d beat me up.” Jiang Si: “…” That night, Wen Mian looks alarmed as Jiang Si keeps lunging at her. She puts on a placating smile. “Jiang, let’s talk this through. Don’t do anything rash. I’m really not afraid of you at all.” Jiang Si curls his lips into a smile. “Is that so? Then tonight, I’ll give you a reason to be afraid.” [Flirtatious, domineering top student vs. fierce-but-adorable little lamb] [You don’t need to do a thing. Just stay tucked safely behind me!]
