That Game Streamer Is So Badass

Ji Zhao is a well-known streamer in the gaming category. Many of the people who watch her livestreams and video submissions are gaming fans who only dare to watch, not play. Wen Jingyan is one of them.

A popular player on a top esports team, Wen Jingyan is known by his fans as S-God for his superb gaming skills and strong mental fortitude.

When he was new to the team and being flamed, he never lost his temper, steadily letting his results silence the haters. When his entire team was eliminated and he was left to fight alone, he stayed calm and slowly turned the match around. Even when he and his teammates lifted the trophy after the finals, he only gave a faint smile.

His fans wanted to know what S-God looked like when he was worked up, so they coaxed his teammates into getting him to play a horror game. While his teammates were so scared they threw their mice and fell out of their gaming chairs, S-God, sitting beside them, didn't furrow his brow once.

No one knew he'd watched a complete playthrough the night before, so he knew exactly where the scares were.

Wen Jingyan through everyone else's eyes: cool and composed, a genius esports player in the YoXI scene.

Wen Jingyan through Ji Zhao's eyes: shy and clingy. When he's frightened or feels wronged, his eyes turn red, and he gazes at her with those watery eyes like a little puppy.

Content notes:

10% gaming + 10% showbiz + 80% romance. It's a tiny bit Mary Sue, but all that matters is the sweetness!

The male lead really is a puppy. Before he realizes his feelings, he's the heroine's devoted fan: the kind who's thrilled on the inside but barely shows any emotion on his face.
