A Mission Called Poverty Alleviation

“In 2020, we will win the battle against poverty as planned and to a high standard. This will be the first time in the thousands of years of Chinese history that absolute poverty has been eliminated across the country. Let us work together to accomplish this great undertaking, one of profound significance to the Chinese nation and all of humanity.” “On the road to poverty alleviation, we must not leave behind a single poor family or abandon a single person in need.” “Every era has its defining challenges, and every generation has its own mission. On the new Long March, every Chinese person is a protagonist and has a part to play.”
