A cool, aloof forest ranger VS a slightly wild comic artist: a guide to an unconventional romance full of doting affection and playful face-slapping. When Cheng Yang first arrives at the forestry station, she mistakes Qin Yu for a bad guy, hurls a mineral water bottle at him, and immediately runs off. That’s their first meeting, and, well, it doesn’t go too smoothly. At their second meeting, Qin Yu accidentally catches her in an embarrassing situation, and from then on, he holds her little secret over her. Cheng Yang thinks maybe this is payback.
For someone like Qin Yu, who spends every day in the forest, the forest is the only thing he wants to protect. He never expected an outsider to suddenly barge into his life. She charges ahead without thinking about the consequences, yet sometimes she’s so tender it hurts to watch. She’s timid and afraid of all sorts of things, but she always tries to act tough, as if she could protect the whole world.
Qin Yu thinks he could never fall for her. But later, Cheng Yang hears him tell her father, word by word: “She only wants me. I have to give myself to her.”
