A low-rent mercenary squad leader rises through the apocalypse by robbing people and cozying up to the powerful, becoming a post-apocalyptic heroine, or rather, bandit queen. Bitten by a zombie? Take a bounty and earn money for a vaccine! Short on supplies? Go out and rob some easy marks! One of the boys gets beaten up? Rally the crew and storm the place! Picked a fight with someone too tough? Friendship first, fighting second. Everyone around her knows the squad leader has three specialities: hard fists, a head like iron, and a knack for switching sides with the wind.
